Joan Washington is a Specialist Trainer and Educator with over 23 years’ experience working with individuals, families and communities affected by migration and other trauma experiences.
Joan is an experienced case manager of complex clients, including torture and trauma survivors and asylum seekers. This has included children, adolescents and adults.
She has extensive experience in delivering workshops about the effects of trauma.
Joan’s recent experience is doing research and training in the youth justice space in terms of understanding the impact of trauma in adolescence and working with building resilience.

Coral Osborne works in the area of grief and loss and currently provides support to people who are bereaved.
Previously she had a long career in the public sector which included international postings where she delivered capacity building and mentoring programs.
Coral is passionate about supporting people through life’s difficult times and provides phone crisis support and disaster recovery with Lifeline.
She is also involved in suicide prevention through not-for-profit community programs. Coral has a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons), and a Graduate Diploma of Counselling specializing in grief and loss.
